Pilots love nothing more than sharing their unique view on the world with others.  Many aircraft allow passenger carrying and pilots are encouraged to share their Tour adventures with others.  Family members, friends, neighbours, local politicians, ... lets share the Manitoba Aviation Tour with as many people as possible.

The Tour Passport is the first way of sharing the Tour.  The photos in the Passport allow quick sharing, just think of grandparents with a new grandchild and you'll get the idea.  Think of what fun this will be at our Final Celebration.  Maybe we should ask everyone to bring/send their favourite photo and have everyone vote for the best Tour photo.

A great way to share the Tour with young people is COPA for Kids, the link is on the Links page.  Quoting from the web site "COPA for Kids aviation program provides - free of charge - a motivational aviation experience, initiating young people to the science of flight."  COPA for Kids flights must occur under the auspices and supervision of a COPA Flight but COPA members who don't belong to a Flight and other pilots can participate.  Contact a nearby Flight to see if they will help you out, or, better yet, form a Flight in your own area!  The EAA Young Eagles program is another alternative for EAA members, check the Links page.

Another exciting way to share your adventure is with SPOT Adventures.  Most pilots will be familiar with the SPOT personal locator, COPA encourages its use as an extra layer of safety besides the ELT, especially the 121.5 ELT.  The Spot Adventures web site is on the Links page.  To see what's possible, open the web site, and click on Find Adventures.  Scroll down and on the left hand side click on Canada, then scroll down again and click on Air Flying.  Check out some of the Adventures, there are quite a few from the Cross Canada Flight.  Just think, while its keeping you safe your SPOT is also providing a record of your Tour adventure!

As you can see on the Sponsors page SPOT is on board!  While we hope all pilots will consider the SPOT as a way to enhance their safety you DO NOT need a SPOT account to use SPOT Adventures.  A document that you can download here describes how to do it - its easy!  Check the SPOT Adventures web site to see what other Tourers are doing!
