Inspired by the Cross Canada Flight, the Manitoba Aviation Tour will see at least 100 aircraft, pilots, and passengers making at least 14 ‘visits’ in each of Manitoba’s 8 Tourism regions during 2010.  This represents a significant amount of aircraft activity - at least 2000 hours, at least 1400 ‘visits’, and at least 2000 aircraft operations - it is a great opportunity for anyone involved in aviation.  It also represents a tremendous opportunity for communities, airports, and flying clubs in all parts of the province to promote their facilities, attractions, and events for aerial visitors.

Sponsors can participate at any of four different levels – Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum.
Bronze and Silver sponsorships are available for $50 and $100, either cash, a product suitable for a prize for Tour participants at the Final Celebration, or a service that we can use in organizing the Tour (for example, printing).
Gold and Platinum sponsorships were cash only, $300 and $500 respectively, and were available only until the Tour Passports had to be prepared for printing.  Thanks very much to our Gold and Platinum Sponsors!

All Sponsors will be acknowledged on the Sponsors page of this website and in any publications we produce.  Gold and Platinum Sponsors will each have a half or full page, full colour advertisement in the Tour Passports issued to each participant and used to document the Tour.  Each Sponsor will have the right to have a pre-printed 8 1/2 x 11 sheet or brochure promotional material included in the Tour registration package which each Tour participant receives or in a second mailing to participants later in the Tour.  All Sponsors will have the right use the term ‘Manitoba Aviation Tour’ in their promotions and will be able to list Tour events or attractions on the website.

There are about 65,000 pilot licenses and permits in Canada and there are about 150 airports, water aerodromes, and heliports in Manitoba; the aviation community is an important demographic.  The Aviation Tour is designed to encourage participation by passengers as well as by pilots; sponsorship will reach many people.  We hope many businesses will see an opportunity in sponsoring the Tour, certainly those involved in aviation will, and we also encourage communities, flying clubs and aviation organizations to consider supporting the Tour.
