Manitoba Aviation Tour Events listed here are planned by Tour Sponsors.  Anyone can plan and promote an event of interest to Tourers but only official Tour Events will be posted here and promoted in our mailings to Tour participants.  Sponsors can send information about their events by email by clicking here.

January 28, 7:30 pm:  COPA Flight 35 Rust Remover session at ANAVET Hall, 3684 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg.  Learn useful things from Nav Canada and Transport Canada presenters Craig Brown and Pete Firlotte and meet recency requirements at the same time.  Admission is $5, there are door prizes and the COPA Flight 35 Oil Raffle.  Attend and you will be able to register and receive your Aviation Tour registration package at the session.  Check the COPA 35 web site or email for more information.

Monday, February 15 (Louis Riel Day):  COPA Flight 162/Shoal Lake Flying Club first Aviation Tour FlyOut to Gimli.  Leaving Shoal Lake 9:30 to 10:00, arriving Gimli about 11:30.  Al's Taxi providing transportation downtown for lunch and a visit to the New Iceland Museum and Art Gallery.  Anyone can join us!

Saturday, March 6, 5:30 pm:  Shoal Lake Flying Club/COPA Flight 162 Manitoba Homecoming 2010 Aviation Tour Social, our 16th Annual Supper, Auction, Awards Night and Dance.  Everyone is welcome, including |FlyIn visitors, we'll arragne your accomodations!!  Check our web site for up to date information.

Saturday, March 13, 9:00 pm:  Russell Flying Club/COPA Flight 138 Annual Cabaret and Elimination Raffle at the Russell and District Community Centre.  Supper served at 11:00. Need tickets?  Send an email.

Sunday, May 2, 9:00 - 12:00:  South Mountain Archery ADAM sanctioned Outdoor Shoot in Erickson

Wednesay, May 12 - Saturday, May 15:  Manitoba Day Celebrations in Neepawa.  The official Manitoba Homecoming 2010 Aviation Tour 'Take Off' is on Wednesday May 12.  See the Snowbirds on Saturday May 15th during their only visit to Manitoba this year!  COPA for Kids Flights on Saturday, May 15!

Sunday, May 30:  Shoal Lake Flying Club/COPA Flight 162 Spring FlyIn - french toast, sauasage, juice and coffee for $6.  Join us for a Tour of the scenic and historic Olha region at 11:00 followed by lunch at Olha at 2:00 for $8.

Friday, June 4 and every Friday to the end of August - Morden FlyDay Supper!  Meals:  Hotdog - $5, Hamburger - $6, Chicken - $8, Steak (some nights) - $10 (depends on the cost of the beef) available from 5:30 to 7:00

Saturday, 2:00 - midnight & Sunday, 11:00 - 8:00, June 19 & 20:  Little Valley Jamboree in Erickson.  Lineup includes Smoky Hollow Boys, Geoffrey Gilmor and Wildhorse, George Anderson, Cooked and Done and the Road Crew, George Ray and the Jig Dancers, "Elvis", and others.  The site is an easy walk from the airport, camp at the site or at the airport!

Sunday, June 20, 8:00 - 11:00:  Fly In, Drive In, Walk In Father's Day Breakfast in Erickson.

July 2, start date:  Manitoba Aviation Tour of Northern Manitoba, check the North Tour page for more information.  Reserve the first 10 days of July, we'll have to be back for Souris' breakfast!
